As a retired doctor who believes in science, I have no reason to wonder if there is a worldwide conspiracy to hoodwink the public about COVID. Do you believe in modern medicine or do you think it's all a hoax? I am really curious.

This Substack is dedicated to making sense of the paradigms that have shifted for me in the last two years. Caitlin hits home with me not only because she is able to dispel the myth of the empire, but because she speaks to the collective expansion of consciousness and if I have an overarching theme with this stack, and more broadly, my purpose in life, is to help usher that conscious evolution. Add my voice to it, where I can, as best as I can. Selective pressure is squeezing our collective leap into the next phase of human development. The covid narrative and the overwhelming compelling evidence that point to nodes of power parallel the truths Caitlin extrapolates about empirical forces.
Do I believe in modern medicine or think it’s a giant hoax? This choice provides such binary extremes that it’s hard to answer. If I was experiencing any kind of trauma (gunshot, broken leg, car accident, etc), I would trust allopathy and the doctors who have spent hours learning how the mechanics of the body operate. You could say, I see doctors as mechanics of the body. As far as pharmaceuticals creeping in and creating a system of bribery, corruption, obfuscation of data, special interests, etc and how some doctors and hospitals tango with these criminal enterprises, well, how can they be surprised that people are turning their backs and looking for the old sage healers, the providers of cures through natural paths?
We outsource our trust to governments, religions, and experts and in doing so, we are infantilized. We stop trusting our instincts, we become dependent on the whim of our rulers as they are in the death throes of a dying empire. And a dying animal lashes out the worst when it’s at the end.
I’ve taken many inferential steps to get to where I am. I didn’t wake up one day and start thinking ‘iatrogenocide’. If someone had told me that two years ago, I would not have believed them. As a matter of fact, I was doing research on what was the best jab to take so I was a full blown normie. Voted for Bernie. Followed the childhood vaccine schedule. And I don’t believe doctors are evil or some such. Some are not aware, and some are just part of the institution. Docs are really good at memorisation and following direction. But there are incentives and punishments, carrots and sticks, and they keep most doctors in line. If you’re retired, it’s possible it wasn’t as blatant during your time as it is now.
Will I just write about covid here? No. I’m a theatre nerd. Watch half of my covid dissenter subscribers leave as soon as I get into the artsy-fartsy. But all I can promise to do is bring my authenticity. Grow with the community that comments here. I won’t always be right. But I’m committed to learning. I don’t want an echo chamber so your lens would be refreshing. I hope you stick around.
Thanks for that detailed reply. I retired 11 years ago. I was a family doctor and prescribed medications all the time. I refused to go to any drug company-sponsored events or dinners because I didn't want to be influenced by Big Pharma. I have on the other hand seen endless examples of pharmaceuticals changing lives for the better, so I am not going to reject allopathic medicine. I do think caution is best, though, and in general I did not prescribe medications that had not been in use for many years, because only then could one have a sense of safety and efficacy. In terms of COVID, unless one is advancing a theory of worldwide conspiracy involving even countries that are on opposite sides of geopolitical tensions (China, US, for example), it's hard for me to see how someone could think that coronaviruses do not cause human illness and in some cases death as well. It's also hard to understand how anyone can reject vaccines, given how many lives have been saved as a result of them. Again, unless one is suggesting a conspiracy that reaches all corners of the globe, how can one believe that the COVID vaccines haven't saved countless lives? I'm no fan of Big Pharma, but that doesn't mean I throw out the baby with the bath water and simply believe that anything pharmaceutical is automatically bogus.
People who are thinking and removing the blindfold don't make stupid comments like that, they ask genuine questions. The fact that "Bob" even follows you and commented displays a childish need to try to stir up trouble. I bet he identifies as 'they.' 🙄

If you really want to learn read about Fauci's actions in the early 80's with AZT. It's like deja vu, he's done exactly the same thing with Covid. And like with Covid he killed thousands and thousands of people. The article is 2015. The truth and facts didn't come out - fully - until a good 8-10 years after it happened. But many knew what was happening at the time...and weren't believed.

Funny I assumed Caitlin was on the side of dispelling imperialist myths, but I haven’t followed her long enough to know she made a stand against reporting about covid specifically in 2020. I wonder if she has said anything about it more recently.
I don’t fault her for not writing about it if she doesn’t feel a connection. We each play an important part and she pulls her weight in the fight against war and nuclear Armageddon. Which, admittedly, right now, feels like a bigger threat. Although I see it as all connected, the war, the mandates, the psy-ops. I don’t feel confidence in writing about geopolitics, say, in the Middle East, because I have done no research in that area. I’ve done plenty of covid research and feel more confident writing about that. I think you’re saying, however, that if you have a large platform, maybe it’s your duty to look into it and lean in? Yes, perhaps. I keep coming back to the wise words of ‘do that which is yours to do’. There are plenty of sage voices (such as yours!!) which provide invaluable information, opinion, and hope in a world that has been lied and gaslit and it will take all of our perspectives to create a lucid way forward. I don’t think the size of our platforms matter. My megaphone isn’t very big. But in my own way, I try to be a piece of the bigger puzzle.
I find little nuggets of truth everywhere. Sometimes, even within folks who I disagree with. I try hard to avoid echo chambers and will stick around to hear out the views of those who tell me to fuck off for expressing my own opinions.
I hope Caitlin can see the covid bullshit for what it is if she hasn’t already. I can’t say I disagree with her about the fact that the most important issue right now is to make sure one of these psychopaths doesn’t press the launch button. 😬 It’s what is hers to do. I agree and applaud her efforts to fend off nuclear war. I don't think she's been as willfully blind as Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi (the Giant Platform Whales, as Sage Hana says) but haven't followed her so am uncertain of how her position evolved over time. And I do still appreciate the contributions of Glenn and Matt while feeling disappointed that they are too afraid to cross the line into "anti-vaxx" and "conspiracy theorist" territory.

Glenn has been awfully quiet lately. I know his husband had some medical issues. Totally speculating here, but maybe a vax injury? The cognitive dissonance is going to hit the wilfully blind pretty bad. I still like both of those guys’ input, but I am concerned that Glenn actively tweeted pro-vax statements. It’s using your platform for nudging the public towards the establishment narrative that is a no bueno scenario.

My thoughts precisely on all fronts. Out of the two of them, I've long thought Matt had the better chance of waking up sooner. He interviewed CJ Hopkins although still had to signal his disagreement on masking and vaxxing. Glenn may be forced to wake up if his husband is indeed vaxx-injured, although I doubt anyone will attribute it to the actual cause if so.

The way it accompanies and creates emphasis to the words is so right on the mark it simply could not have been done more perfectly. It's horrible that you are no longer welcome in the theatre community, but finding something else that you can pour your creative energies into that allow for learning new skills and generating pride of work well done (extremely well done), work that connects you to others and gives us value too... some compensation at least. So is this a substack devoted to these ideas? I came here to listen to your reading of Caitlin Johnstone's poem. I'm a big fan of hers. I had no idea what I was stepping into. As a retired doctor who believes in science, I have no reason to wonder if there is a worldwide conspiracy to hoodwink the public about COVID. Do you believe in modern medicine or do you think it's all a hoax? I am really curious.
Thank you for asking and for being curious, truly, I will give you my honest answers.
This Substack is dedicated to making sense of the paradigms that have shifted for me in the last two years. Caitlin hits home with me not only because she is able to dispel the myth of the empire, but because she speaks to the collective expansion of consciousness and if I have an overarching theme with this stack, and more broadly, my purpose in life, is to help usher that conscious evolution. Add my voice to it, where I can, as best as I can. Selective pressure is squeezing our collective leap into the next phase of human development. The covid narrative and the overwhelming compelling evidence that point to nodes of power parallel the truths Caitlin extrapolates about empirical forces.
Do I believe in modern medicine or think it’s a giant hoax? This choice provides such binary extremes that it’s hard to answer. If I was experiencing any kind of trauma (gunshot, broken leg, car accident, etc), I would trust allopathy and the doctors who have spent hours learning how the mechanics of the body operate. You could say, I see doctors as mechanics of the body. As far as pharmaceuticals creeping in and creating a system of bribery, corruption, obfuscation of data, special interests, etc and how some doctors and hospitals tango with these criminal enterprises, well, how can they be surprised that people are turning their backs and looking for the old sage healers, the providers of cures through natural paths?
We outsource our trust to governments, religions, and experts and in doing so, we are infantilized. We stop trusting our instincts, we become dependent on the whim of our rulers as they are in the death throes of a dying empire. And a dying animal lashes out the worst when it’s at the end.
I’ve taken many inferential steps to get to where I am. I didn’t wake up one day and start thinking ‘iatrogenocide’. If someone had told me that two years ago, I would not have believed them. As a matter of fact, I was doing research on what was the best jab to take so I was a full blown normie. Voted for Bernie. Followed the childhood vaccine schedule. And I don’t believe doctors are evil or some such. Some are not aware, and some are just part of the institution. Docs are really good at memorisation and following direction. But there are incentives and punishments, carrots and sticks, and they keep most doctors in line. If you’re retired, it’s possible it wasn’t as blatant during your time as it is now.
Will I just write about covid here? No. I’m a theatre nerd. Watch half of my covid dissenter subscribers leave as soon as I get into the artsy-fartsy. But all I can promise to do is bring my authenticity. Grow with the community that comments here. I won’t always be right. But I’m committed to learning. I don’t want an echo chamber so your lens would be refreshing. I hope you stick around.
Thanks for that detailed reply. I retired 11 years ago. I was a family doctor and prescribed medications all the time. I refused to go to any drug company-sponsored events or dinners because I didn't want to be influenced by Big Pharma. I have on the other hand seen endless examples of pharmaceuticals changing lives for the better, so I am not going to reject allopathic medicine. I do think caution is best, though, and in general I did not prescribe medications that had not been in use for many years, because only then could one have a sense of safety and efficacy. In terms of COVID, unless one is advancing a theory of worldwide conspiracy involving even countries that are on opposite sides of geopolitical tensions (China, US, for example), it's hard for me to see how someone could think that coronaviruses do not cause human illness and in some cases death as well. It's also hard to understand how anyone can reject vaccines, given how many lives have been saved as a result of them. Again, unless one is suggesting a conspiracy that reaches all corners of the globe, how can one believe that the COVID vaccines haven't saved countless lives? I'm no fan of Big Pharma, but that doesn't mean I throw out the baby with the bath water and simply believe that anything pharmaceutical is automatically bogus.
People who are thinking and removing the blindfold don't make stupid comments like that, they ask genuine questions. The fact that "Bob" even follows you and commented displays a childish need to try to stir up trouble. I bet he identifies as 'they.' 🙄

If you really want to learn read about Fauci's actions in the early 80's with AZT. It's like deja vu, he's done exactly the same thing with Covid. And like with Covid he killed thousands and thousands of people. The article is 2015. The truth and facts didn't come out - fully - until a good 8-10 years after it happened. But many knew what was happening at the time...and weren't believed.

Funny I assumed Caitlin was on the side of dispelling imperialist myths, but I haven’t followed her long enough to know she made a stand against reporting about covid specifically in 2020. I wonder if she has said anything about it more recently.
I don’t fault her for not writing about it if she doesn’t feel a connection. We each play an important part and she pulls her weight in the fight against war and nuclear Armageddon. Which, admittedly, right now, feels like a bigger threat. Although I see it as all connected, the war, the mandates, the psy-ops. I don’t feel confidence in writing about geopolitics, say, in the Middle East, because I have done no research in that area. I’ve done plenty of covid research and feel more confident writing about that. I think you’re saying, however, that if you have a large platform, maybe it’s your duty to look into it and lean in? Yes, perhaps. I keep coming back to the wise words of ‘do that which is yours to do’. There are plenty of sage voices (such as yours!!) which provide invaluable information, opinion, and hope in a world that has been lied and gaslit and it will take all of our perspectives to create a lucid way forward. I don’t think the size of our platforms matter. My megaphone isn’t very big. But in my own way, I try to be a piece of the bigger puzzle.
I find little nuggets of truth everywhere. Sometimes, even within folks who I disagree with. I try hard to avoid echo chambers and will stick around to hear out the views of those who tell me to fuck off for expressing my own opinions.
I hope Caitlin can see the covid bullshit for what it is if she hasn’t already. I can’t say I disagree with her about the fact that the most important issue right now is to make sure one of these psychopaths doesn’t press the launch button. 😬 It’s what is hers to do. I think mine is to help as many people who are under the spell of the reality that was sold to them see through the illusion. We need to wake up the normies. All of the ones who will lend us half an ear.

I agree and applaud her efforts to fend off nuclear war. I don't think she's been as willfully blind as Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi (the Giant Platform Whales, as Sage Hana says) but haven't followed her so am uncertain of how her position evolved over time. And I do still appreciate the contributions of Glenn and Matt while feeling disappointed that they are too afraid to cross the line into "anti-vaxx" and "conspiracy theorist" territory.

Glenn has been awfully quiet lately. I know his husband had some medical issues. Totally speculating here, but maybe a vax injury? The cognitive dissonance is going to hit the wilfully blind pretty bad. I still like both of those guys’ input, but I am concerned that Glenn actively tweeted pro-vax statements. It’s using your platform for nudging the public towards the establishment narrative that is a no bueno scenario.
My thoughts precisely on all fronts. Out of the two of them, I've long thought Matt had the better chance of waking up sooner. He interviewed CJ Hopkins although still had to signal his disagreement on masking and vaxxing. Glenn may be forced to wake up if his husband is indeed vaxx-injured, although I doubt anyone will attribute it to the actual cause if so.

Wow... the words strike right to the heart and soul. Or maybe right through the heart. I will go check out Caitlin's stack to give credit where it's due. Your video production is equally striking. The way it accompanies and creates emphasis to the words is so right on the mark it simply could not have been done more perfectly. It's horrible that you are no longer welcome in the theatre community, but finding something else that you can pour your creative energies into that allow for learning new skills and generating pride of work well done (extremely well done), work that connects you to others and gives us value too... some compensation at least. Heartbreaking to watch, but a huge Bravo to both you and Caitlin for a stunning work.
