I also was a groupie, of sorts, for Rob's band, Tao Chemical, and later lived with his brother for a couple of years. Rob was probably the greatest influence on my 20's.
Despite our rift, I've never met anyone with a greater facility with words or a more intuitive sense of empowering people through horoscopes. As I just looked his stack up, blocking me from posting as a paid sub hasn't hurt him--he's now at 71K subs. But I note that he's still in the stuck place where I left him.
