Before I hit play, I was expecting my voice set to dubstep or dark ambient over a WinAmp visualizer background in the standard remix style. I wasn't expecting to be practically moved to tears by a perfectly-cut mini-documentary. Very nicely done. I will be sharing this one.
This is the antidote to the obfuscating abstractions the propagandists, puppeteers, and politicians use to paper over the bloody reality no sane person would condone if they viscerally understood what is actually occurring.
Right on!!! Having worked in the belly of the beast, as a former NSA "special missions" spook. I concur with this video. Its content and message I totally agree with, having seen it from the inside. NSA has nothing to do with national security, it has to do with financial security for wealthy psychopaths, nothing else. I saw the intelligence that I risked my life for get falsified, for no other reason than to keep the money flowing into the military industrial complex. The good guys were the bad guys. I did see more than the handlers wanted me to see.
This stirred another thought in me. If we had my adult social club / college / non-bar, not only could mature adults meet and socialize (and ponder thoughts like this) but also young people could transition from high school or college to a social environment to share in these thoughts. No need for a "military" to fill a need to "belong".
In the past, churches filled some of this role, but a church preaches an agenda. What I'd like is sharing of free thought. Sort of an "in-person Substack".
Thank you. Just Thank you all for doing this. Knowing that you are out there in the world, seeing this, reflecting this back to me, makes me feel so much stronger.
Incredible imagery added to perfectly amplify already powerful words; proof favorite talents manifest synergy when combined. Big time kudos & thanks for the masterpiece! <3
war is a racket (as General Smedley Butler so aptly stated!) -- just wartched the viddeyo an' couldn't agree more... paci-fist here myself ! (I'll punch air whin I'm fit ta be tied but ain't gonna "study" war no more!) -- as ol' Pete would'a sung: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ijtdJcenFM
a fine piece here--imagery an' powerful words well-paired!
Damn, Tonika. I almost missed this, flying back from AZ on the day you published... SO GLAD I didn't. As disturbing as the godawful words and images are, they are TRUTH, and as such, are necessary viewing in the soup of lies in which we're swimming, have been swimming for decades now.
I'd never encountered Spartacus before, so I'm grateful for the introduction. The piece you and he and Gabe have created here is one of the best I've ever seen; it is the pinnacle of what art always has the potential to do: shake up the status quo and awaken souls to truth. Bravo my fine, brave, theatre-nerd friend. 🙌

This is so powerful (I didn't get a notification again) and stirred up my visceral (sorry) hatred for these psychopaths contrary to all my spiritual endeavours trying to change things through light and love. I'm glad you cited Tragedy and Hope because I'm the only person I know who has read (part of) it. What it really underlines for me, and hopefully others, is that war is a racket (Smedley Butler) contrived by evil puppeteers to fill their pockets. We need more of this stuff to swamp the collective consciousness.

THAT. WAS. SPECTACULAR.
Bravo, all three of you!! 👏

Just excellent. Powerful.
18 minutes well spent! Thank you, three.

Brilliant 👏👏... Will share far and wide... Excellent work!!
This is brilliant. Spartacus is brilliant regardless, but this elevated the experience of his words.
Great job. Phenomenal
Australia has never recovered from WWI and it has been downhill ever since.
I will be incorporating this into my work somehow. Thank you.
Deep... well done. I'm so sick and tired of people defending war as essential because "the other nation started it". Humanity deeply disappoints me.
This is a brilliant breakdown of all the reasons why war is never the answer. Great work all 3 of you! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

YES! That was excellent. Well done. And Let the Covid 19 overreach be their final folly INDEED!
