Happy Anniversary, beautiful Substack friend! Your newsletter is so uniquely YOU and I'm immensely happy to have met you in this space. I love your perspectives coming from a theater background (no wonder you and Mary connected like magnets!)

Much Love to you, Tonika! XOXO

Thank you, forest whisperer! Much love welcomed and received. What a treat to have made a connection with you here. Even though we spend most of our times on this digital platform talking about being outside in nature. 😂

Well duck me, that was great! Happy 3rd to you. So glad to have discovered you and connected. The last few years has been a rollercoaster for so many of us. I am still grieving all my lost illusions as well as celebrating having seen through them. It feels like a comedy horror show some days. We are not alone!

Haha! Improv skills noted!! I knew it didn’t look right but moved right along. For a guy who loves the music of language as much as I do it’s noteworthy that I’m practically illiterate 😊

Oh, I wasn’t actually correcting you. Both words can work! Even if bizarre is technically an adjective, in the way you applied it, it can be used as a non. I do love those two words together. I was part of an event that was called Bizarre Bazaar where we all made wares and sold them in a community type environment. Totally hippy shit. Loved it.

Goodness, it’s been only and already three years?! Seems like we’ve been dear friends forever. What a privilege it has been to ride out this Apocaloptimistic adventure with you, Tonika. I am so grateful for your luminous presence in my life. Happy three-year Stackiversary and looking forward to many more. Love you, sister 💞

Many happy returns on this Halloween!!! It probably goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway -- I'M INFINITELY GRATEFUL FOR YOU. I probably would have bailed on my own Stack if I hadn't discovered yours, T. And then imagine all the connection, the art, the expansion, and yes, the LOVE that never would have happened! I shudder.

Three things: first, I subscribed to Ashmedai on the basis of that brilliant excerpt. Holy cow. Second, THAT COSTUME. (Your kids will look back in awe at their good fortune at being the child of a theatre nerd.) Third, can I use your verbiage re: the Substack free offer thingy? You describe it so well; I'd like to add that to my next post. xoxox!

Ditto on that shudder! I'm wondering if I've been in either of your lives for much over a year. I know I found you, Mary, through your trip with Tonika to RFK's announcement. So funny to think back to her description of that capable woman who wasn't going to let her miss her plane ;-) It's like I had a cartoon outline of you that's since filled in and taken on a character (sic) of her own. And maybe I found Tonika through Isaac or Isaac through Tonika.

I know I haven't seen the parody vid before, which is awesome! And love the quote on the problem. I word it a little differently, that once you get the question right, the answer is self-evident. The question clears a space in your mind for the answer to land, which has been circling your head waiting for that opportunity.

So very proud to call you my friend!

T’s comments are like getting hugged by a warm blanket while sitting by a fire pit and sipping on spiced apple cider. Thanks, T! So honored to be considered such and ditto!

Btw, that cartoon image of Mary isn’t that far off. I’m real life, she transformed into a magnificent gazelle that ran through the terminal as if in one of those movies where the magic always happens in the 11th hour.

“Once you get the question right, the answer is self evident.” I will adapt that. Pithy and poetic.

Whats the disagreement in hamilton? I kinda find awkward to cultivate ourselve literaly facing deepstate agent while under the banner of hamilton institut also a freemason master brother… but in the end i think simply: they do are everywhere and made everything ( or stole it) and their crew manage the unmanageable 5000 years knowledge passing( or not) soooo we might follow the example for at

Least the discipline and growth/expansion thinking. So here is my disagreement with hamilton, but in a way i find a necessity to adapt. What where your discussions about? If there is a link to it. I am a taker 👍

Thanks for subbing me, Jean-Sebastien! Matt sees the economic programs of Ben Franklin and Alexander Hamilton as the same, I see them as opposite. Franklin developed a system of local currency, backed by the housing, and my system in my book is based on his. The Revolutionary War was fought because the British bankers forced the Currency Act making Franklin's system illegal.

After the Revolutionary War was won, they owed back wages to the veterans who'd fought but weren't paying them. Instead, they foreclosed on their farms for back taxes. Shay's rebellion was to allow states to issue the currency so they could get their back wages and pay the taxes. Hamilton had his own plan to make state-issued currencies illegal again, so that bankers could control the economy like his boss, Morris. His plan, called the Constitution, won out:

Math Crawford from now on it is! Thanks for being here, so glad to have you and your insight!

Actually it’s my Substack anniversary today, not my birthday, but my entrance into the earthly realm is coming up, so Scorpio season is accurate. Although, I had my chart done by Isaac Middle (Down the Wombat Hole) and I never realized how much more there is to astrology than just your horoscope sign. I am still making my way through the specificity of what the stars say about my character and have found it quite informative. Look him up if you’re into that kind of thing.

Regularly I get burned out on the frustration of "free" things that are difficult to unsubscribe! I turn down a lot of "free" stuff because I don't want the hassle. I've reasonably recently been burned for many hundreds of dollars of unexpected charges due to things being "renewed" without my realizing it.

There are some that are pretty good though. I've been getting Hulu for $1 a month for the past year and it was no trouble at all to cancel before they jacked up the rate (why should I pay for an increased rate on something I'm not even watching!).

The post before this one had a small collection of political memes. Sometimes some of my posts are very meme heavy. The Miseducarion of The United States of America is worth a scroll! And I have been collecting and organizing the memes for the End Of Year in Review Memelanche which I’ll blast off December 31st/January 1st. Also, I don’t know if you’re on Instagram, but I put out a weekly mini meme dump every Monday. You can find those under @Visceral Adventure. And I have to mention that there are several stackers who do memes right: Margaret Anna Alice, Starfire Codes, Conspi-rat, to name a few.

Thanks for the comment and for your support, Kurt! So glad you stumbled into this stack last year. 🙌

Many thanks Kathleen! And I have always wondered about collabing! I’ve often said that you end up writing posts expressing sentiments before I get around to it and do that so eloquently, I have nothing more to add, but the true crux of it is that these sentiments often live in a metaphysical world which is hard to visualize without going abstract. But why not? If you’re down, I’d love to do something beautiful together. ❤️
