There's nothing worse than bad improv, but when it's good... it's HEAVEN. Wish I coulda been there to laugh alongside you and your boy/man. ๐ Great review.
This reminds me again of how much I would LOVE to perform in theatre. But I'm now old, and I have a panic disorder. So I dream...Thank you for your brilliant writing!
Never too old for creative expression! Iโd actually beg to differ that theatre is in need of older people - since itโs isnโt very sustainable living, most give up in their 40s and hard to fill the gap with those left.
How refreshing to read this, Tonika. Way too long since I've watched improv. I like to imagine that under the laughs, the deeper message is how essential artists and creativity are to what it means to be human. Thanks for the reminder.
Yes! Artists can be the pioneers of social paradigm shifts! We are essential. Art is subversive and TPTB know this so they can use it as leverage! Thanks for swinging in the olโ comment section and leaving a note, Kathleen.

I feel like I'm missing out again! Damn you Americans. Land of the free. I need to get me some freedom....
I got some-- I'll send you some.
๐ time for TG to start an Aussie Improv group.
Reading Dante made me like Salvador Dali, and reading your reviews makes me like theatre. Thanks Tonika.
EDAU, this might be the most unique and feel good compliment Iโve gotten in a long time. Thank you.
What a great review! I haven't been to 2nd City in way too long. It's a RELIEF to know the Improv still hits the spot. Cheers
Cheers! Yeah, Iโm so glad I went. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved. ๐
Take it on the road. I've never lived in a more BORING place...
Itโs not my show!
Well, we could start one of our own. ;)
Now youre talking!!
90 minutes of laughter that is good for the soul.
You can say that again! Best medicine.
This sounds hilarious! Love that you and your son had such a great discussion afterwards <3
๐ Apples didnโt fall that far from the tree.
